A report showed only 25% of people who start working in social care last more than 3 months
I'm Alistair Clarke with news that there’s controversy in Scotland as a politician questioned why people would choose to work in social care when they could earn £10 an hour in a supermarket. The comments come as a report showed only 25% of people who start working in social care last more than 3 months. Sandesh Gulhane said working in care was challenging and it was hard for people to move up the career ladder. There'll be more on this and other stories here on Care Radio.
