I'm Matt Jones with news that over thirty-two thousand hours were spent handing over patients from ambulances to hospitals in Wales last month, according to new figures from the Welsh Ambulance Service. That equates to over a third of ambulance crews' available time. Increased pressures on A&E and a lack of in-patient beds mean that often patients arriving at hospital by ambulance have to wait; sometimes for over four hours.
