The STOP Suicide campaign was introduced because 70 per cent of people who die by suicide have not contacted health services
I'm James MacDonald with news that more than a thousand volunteers across Cambridgeshire have been trained to spot warning signs and start conversations about suicide. The STOP Suicide campaign was introduced because 70 per cent of people who die by suicide have not contacted health services. The campaign is looking to help people to spot warning signs and start conversations about suicide in the hope that it saves lives. The courses have been booked up quickly and attended by staff and volunteers from social care, domestic violence, and homelessness organisations. For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
