The Care Quality Commission wants to hear from deaf and hard of hearing people about their experiences of healthcare provision
I’m Matt Rosser with news that the Care Quality Commission wants to hear from deaf and hard of hearing people about their experiences of healthcare provision to inform its monitoring of local services and to ensure people are receiving safe and effective treatment. The CQC is working with Disability Rights UK and has recently launched SignLive on its website, where people can provide feedback in BSL. People can also get in touch by text using the RelayUK app. The Commission says it’s committed to addressing health inequalities and reducing barriers to care.
