The show, focussed on carers and patients’ experiences of dementia, has opened in Scotland
I'm John Warburton with news that an art show focussed on carers and patients’ experiences of dementia, has opened in Scotland. It’s been hosted by Alliance Scotland, an organisation with representatives from more than 3,000 care providers, health services and voluntary groups. Alliance says artist Xuechang Leng’s work highlights the emotional ups and downs of people living with dementia. His paintings and sculptures, with the Scottish Graduate School for Arts and Humanities, tell what the group calls a “story of beauty, kindness and care”. All the pieces are going to be donated to care homes. View Xuechang’s work here. For more care related stories stay with us here at Care Radio.
