The UK's contact-tracing app has been given funding for the rest of the year
I’m Matt Rosser keeping you up to date with news that the UK's contact-tracing app has been given funding for the rest of the year. It cost 100 million pounds to develop and has been downloaded 30 million times but with the UK government scrapping its manual contact-tracing operations, long-term plans for the app are not clear. Meanwhile the ZOE symptom tracking app has had its funding pulled. Professor Tim Spector says he hopes the ZOE project will continue and will look at other health conditions as well as COVID.
