Study suggests wearable devices and sensors can be used to collect data, from activity levels to blood sugar monitoring
I’m Matt Jones with news that a new survey of digital leads at UK councils has found the majority of them believe technology can have the greatest impact for social care. It's thought smart technology, assisted by artificial intelligence, could revolutionise social care by improving quality and efficiency, and allowing people to live independently for longer. The study suggests wearable devices and sensors can be used to collect data, from activity levels to blood sugar monitoring, to be used to identify potential problems and intervene earlier.
