'Ready to go' units have been created to help get patients off inpatient wards and ready to care for themselves at home
I'm Matt Jones with news that hospitals in Somerset are stepping in to provide extra places for those discharged from hospital after illness or injury. 'Ready to go' units have been created at Musgrove Park Hospital and at Yeovil District Hospital to help get patients off inpatient wards and ready to care for themselves at home. The units will help patients regain their independence and strength after a period of time in hospital, and to manage their own medication and self-care.
