Sexual harassment in the NHS

New research suggests there are widespread incidents of sexual harassment in the NHS

I’m Paul Hutton with news that new research suggests there are widespread incidents of sexual harassment in the NHS. The findings from a survey of more than 12,200 health workers by the union Unison found one in ten staff reported unwanted incidents including being touched or kissed, demands for sex in return for favours, and derogatory comments. The Royal College of Nursing said the figures paint an incredibly disturbing picture while the Department of Health and Social Care said such behaviour was "unacceptable" and encouraged staff to report it.
