I'm Alistair Clarke a snapshot of carers in Northern Ireland paints a depressing picture of the current cost of living crisis. 1 in 4 carers asked say they’ve cut back on heating and eating because they simply can’t afford. There’s around 300,000 unpaid carers in northern Ireland and in the survey 70% of respondents said price increases were impacting on their physical and mental wellbeing.
