I'm John Warburton with news that there should be as few language barriers as possible when encouraging people to book appointments for anti-covid and ‘flu inoculations. That’s how the NHS says it’s working in the East of England, to reach out to what it calls “ethnic minority groups”. Local health bosses have made a series of videos, where pharmacists using 13 different languages, including Urdu, Polish and Arabic, make their appeals to the public.
