I'm Alistair Clarke with news that the NHS in Lancashire is trying to combat overcrowding by transforming a refurbished hospital ward into a place for older women to receive care. The former rehabilitation unit at the Royal Preston Hospital has been turned into a centre called Skylark after a 3 month refresh where up to 11 older people at a time can call home and their family and friends can visit.
