People can sit the observed structured clinical examination for the nursing and midwifery council
I’m James Macdonald with news that a new test centre has opened in Newcastle for overseas nurses and anyone returning to practice and joining the UK nursing register. This is the 4th new centre where people can sit the observed structured clinical examination as the nursing and midwifery council looks to improve access to OSCE tests. The other centres in the UK are run by Oxford Brookes University, the University of Northampton and Ulster University with a fifth due to open in Leeds before the summer. There’s news on this and other stories here on Care Radio.
