Catherine Bartholomew, who works for NHS Sussex, spent her lockdown writing a children’s book
I'm Alistair Clarke with news that perhaps nursing is magical. Catherine Bartholomew, who works for NHS Sussex, spent her lockdown writing a children’s book – Little Nurse and Bag – based on her work as a community matron. She tells children not to be fooled by the name – she may be small but she’s powerful - and her bag’s got everything in to help people. The book talks about caring for others and the wonderful powers of being kind – almost like it’s magic. There'll be more on this and other stories here on Care Radio.
