I'm Nick Meir with news that a care home has been ordered to improve after inspectors found residents were sometimes made to get up at  4.30am because of staff shortages. Linden House, in Castleton, Rochdale, provides personal and nursing care for up to 30 people, including those with physical disabilities and dementia. But officials from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) found the home ‘requires improvement’ in all areas during a recent inspection. Although they noted that staff were ‘kind, caring and helpful’.
