Age UK in North Yorkshire and Darlington is looking for people who have cared for someone with dementia to take part in a new project
I’m Paul Hutton with news that Age UK in North Yorkshire and Darlington is looking for people who have cared for someone with dementia to take part in a new project. The charity which runs a dementia respite day care centre in Darlington have secured funding to run the Dementia Peer Support scheme and wants people with experience to use it to help other families. Volunteers will be given six weeks of training and then support people caring for loved ones with the disease. For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
