I’m Alistair Clarke with news that a hospice in Blackpool is celebrating the new year with trees a jolly good fellow. Trinity Hospice engaged 116 volunteers to collect 2,100 Christmas Trees which has generated £27,000 for the service. Some of the trees have been replanted, others chipped up to help restore the sand dunes along the Lancashire coastline. For more care news, stay with us here on Care Radio.
