A carer's tale takes centre stage at Brighton Fringe

Georgie Steele says her performances should uncover the absurd, hilarious and devastating stories of disability in our society

I'm John Warburton with news that a mother of two boys, who’ve been diagnosed with a life-limiting condition, has turned her experiences as a carer into a show that’s returning to Brighton Fringe this month. Georgie Steele says her performances should uncover the absurd, hilarious and devastating stories of disability in our society, and life as a carer. According to Georgie, her award-winning show “And I’ll blow your house down” is also part of her campaigning to get Carer’s Allowance reviewed and reformed to increase support. Her performances in the city begin on May 16th.
